I got on ARP's website and if i'm reading correctly my 1g head studs are 190,000psi tensile strength and are to be torqued to 112ft/lbs with arp moly lube. Seems very high to me, so i thought i'd see if maybe i'm just looking at it wrong.

I guess i should call arp. The studs are 12mm and 190,000psi and according to what i'm reading on their website it says 152 NM with arp moly lube. I am using arp moly lube and I have them down to 75ft/lbs right now awaiting more information.

my ARP headstuds with moly lube were torqued to 90 ft/lbs. 120 ft/lbs with motor oil.

After about 200 miles they were loose, retorque back to 90 ft/lbs.

6 bolt head studs should be torqued down to 80 ft/lbs with ARP moly lube, that is per the ARP specs. I torqued mine to 85 ft/lbs and I wouldn't recommend going any higher then that.

Ehh, Ive heard people doing 95 ft/lbs with moly lube with good results, but at that point in all honesty..It's not safe as you are passing the yeild %, and.. L19's would be in order :thumb:
