Hello
I pulled the oil pan of my 2g to port out the oil return hole to 19mm and was alarmed to find some copper chunks stuck to my oil strainer. In the next few days I will remove the caps to check the rod and main bearings but can someone put me at ease in the meantime? :). Motor has about 30k miles. There is absolutely no noticeable knock and oil pressure is fine. What do you think? Thanks and stay safe during this pandemic!

I honestly wouldn't worry too much about it, but checking the main bearings would be a good idea. I pulled the pan off of my motor to replace the gasket (114k on motor btw) and found some copper chunks like that as well. I'm thinking it might have come from the turbo return line or just some crap on the drain plug.

Awesome guys. Thanks. Definitely put me on ease some! Could have definitely came from my past turbos (t25, 16g,20g, or hx35) i will definitely pull the splash shield and check bearings before putting the pan back on. Oh and replacing the strainer too. Thanks guys
