Ok I bought new head studs. I'm changing out my head gasket going back to MLS my head has been all resurfaced and my bock is good. So here is my issue. I do not have moly lube or the awesome arp lube.

I was reading I can use 10w30. But the torque specs are higher. I looked everywhere I could for the correct torque specs for oil vs the lube. I seen a few post saying 125lbs but that sounds dangerous. I seen another post for 85. I found a PDF file from Arp but they didn't mention torquing with oil at all. So I need help.
Arp is closed till Monday and I wanna get this back together with my new turbo. Please help.

Thanks

ARP specifically states to only use ARP lubricant and not oil (or other lubricants). Here are the instructions:

I have heard of users using motor oil in the past, and believe ARP used to have 10w30 oil directions in older versions of the kit. In your post, you state that you purchased new ARP studs. Do they not come with moly lube already? I suppose an additional question is; What ARP stud kit did you purchase?

If it were me, I would suck it up and wait to order the correct lubricant to ensure consistent torque.

Thanks for the quick reply. I bought new studs but not the nuts or washers I want to reuse the old ones. So no lube. I will wait an order some for the studs. Also the part number of the studs are 207-4201
Thanks again.

For anyone else who is ever in my place.

I called Arp. They said the torque setting if using 30 weight oil "not 10w30" is 85lbs on 11mm head studs. The torque setting on 12mm bolts is 120lbs.
Either way i decided to use ARP ULTRA TORQUE LUBE. After receiving advice from others here.
