Please before anyone starts knocking products on ebay....i dont want to hear it. I am just here to get some information and thats it.

So are there any guys out there running a stage 4 pressure plate with the 6 puck sprung clutch? How are they holding up? driveability? any info would be great.

I have a xtd stage 4 with the unsprung disk and its awesome, grabs hard and isnt to bad for daily driving.

sweet, well this is going into a 99 gst so i think i am going to contact them and get a stage 4 PP with the 6 puck sprung disc.

I am running the same setup as gsxexcutioner except i have the 6 puck, and i dont have any issues with it. I did a good bit of research on it before i bought it and everything i read said to stay away from the sprung hub disks from them.

thanks for all the input guys

So should i just go with the stage 4 PP with 6 puck UNSPRUNG? this car is going to see mostly streets but with a good ammount of spirited driving. Will be pairing it with a ACT streetlight flywheel 11.5lb iirc

Thats the set up Im leaning towards but with a fidanza flywheel.

i am not running one currently but as soon as i feel my clutch start slipping i will be ordering an xtd stage 4 unsprung

Isn't that because awd launches tend the springs to pop out of the hub just like any other sprung friction disc?

Also, is the unsprung setup going to be too much for my fwd? Currrently in the middle of a motor rebuild along with a make over for the car.. so if you want me to post mods of the current parts i have right now alogn with parts i will have before i start up the car just let me know.

Ive run sprung act discs and never had an issue it was just everyone i read of with the xtd sprung discs said they blew up, so i went unsprung. I am fwd, so no i dont think its too much, LOL. As far as chatter and harsh engagement, you just have to slip the clutch a little more on take offs and learn how to drive that clutch. I can take off from a stop sign in my car just as easy as i could in my 2g with act 2600 / street disk combo. You just have to get used to it at first.

For the money you cant beat the clutch, mine is paired with a lightweight fidanza and i love how quick the car revs and how how strong the clutch holds. When i get it out this spring we will see how it does with 30+ psi on an hx40 as i only got to break it in at the end of last fall.

Thanks for the info man, i am going to order up the stage 4 PP plate with 6puck unsprung disc.
