Looking to know the corrrrect way to run the oil cooler lines?? my oilcooler when i got the car 6-bolt swap has ONE HOSE just looped from one line on the cooler to the other?? why would you do that??

The above posted link should help. The only difference is that, in the post, there is an after market oil cooler and stainless lines. The connections should be the same; on the oil filter housing and the cooler itself (unless I'm sorely mistaken). :talon:

Since he has a 6 bolt swap Im assuming an external oil cooler setup, which probably should have been specified. If it is the link I posted is the correct setup oem or aftermarket oil coolers. If its the sandwhich plate then snowboarder got the right diagram.

Ok actually helps out alittle. One questoin just to make sure, one of the lines that goes into the oil cooelr is a ANTIFREEZE line? The other line is a oil line??? Another question is why would someone bypass it and just loop one line on the oil coole rto the other?

They should both be coolant lines. The one that connects to the top nipple on the oil cooler comes from the water pipe. The other one comes from the thermostat housing.

No idea why someone would loop them. Maybe they were missing part of one of the lines?

BTW, you really need to stop bumping your threads :nono:

Yea maybe your diagrahm helped alot, im going to see if i see the other antifreeze line somewhere. Looking around maybe they cracked the oil cooler inside by tightening it to much and it was mixing antifreeze and oil so they blocked it off?? iduno

Bumping my threads? Sorry i was just saying that it looks like the 2g diagrahm becaus ei didnt state that in the previous post? i can only say something on my thread if someone asks me a question or someone else bumps it? dont get it but sorry man.
