FYI last month at the track I had the same boost leak, same alignment issues, it was a little cooler, and I still had the stock exhaust. I thought that having a 3" turbo back would help me hold more boost at redline, I wasn't able to confirm this because I keep forgetting to check my pillar mounted boost gauge when I'm racing.

hey, new on here, i have a 93 NT talon.. 4g63, 272/272 BC cams, custom intake, 4-2-1 evn flow header. I went to our local track to finally run my talon, ran between 16.9 and 17.5. Shouldnt my car run a lil quicker even with a horrible reaction time? Slowest reaction was 1.5 and best was .8??
Reaction time 0.976
60 ft - 2.5419
1/8th ET- 10.9941
1/8th mph - 64.02
1/4 mile ET -16.9500
1/4 MPH - 81.36
Hope this info helps,

Reaction time does not affect your total 1/4 mile time. It is a lot more important when bracket racing or head-to-head racing, but when your just at the track to get some times in, it is irrelevant. What you should be worrying about is your 60' time, which shows you how good your launches are. I've heard that gaining 0.1 second of your 60' time is good for 0.2 off your 1/4 mile E/T.

I ran a 16.1 @ 82 MPH with my 1G 4G63 N/T with just a K&N filter and a Pacesetter Cat-back. You won't see much faster with our engines non-turbo. I finally did a turbo swap earlier this year.
