I was gonna say measure the head bolt holes? I couldn't think of any noticable difference between the different year 1g heads from pictures. That cam angle sensor doesn't have a crank position sensor for anyone who wants to put this in a 1g. Also if you have a 1g 7 bolt and want to use a crank position sensor you have to use a 2g or evo oil pump. The 1g oil pump has the bolt holes drilled and tapped, but the sensor itself won't bolt on.

ask me how I know...

oh and the evo oil pump will require an alternator relocation kit.

Ok so it's that time of year for my smog check, does anyone by any chance know where I could get all this done? Somewhere where it will pass visual, someone cool?

The head bolt holes amongst all 1g heads will all be the same as it wasnt untill 95 that they started using the smaller head bolts on the 7-bolt motors.

just ask if they will do a visual inspection most shops don't care as long as it pass.

Asking a SMOG shop to only do a visual and pass you, probably not going to happen. Joe, whats keeping you from passing emissions right now anyway? You don't have anything done to the car that would fail it other than your intake that I could see.

... no not to do a visual only hahaha.. if your car is modded with shiny things under the hood but can still pass smog on it's own. like mine use to be some shops will not pass if you have a K&N filter and some don't care.

Lol, well everything is still gonna be the same, because im still gonna be paying the original 1000 price, yeah i lost that other 500 due to Russell messing up but this new guy mark is going to set it up to where all i have to pay for them is 500 more which is still the original deal, so im not worried.
