Wondering if you could help?
Ever since I put dsm link in my car I have a serious driveability condition, early in the morning it falls on its face, and at 2700 to 3000 rpms no matter what speed or gear I'm in it hesitates like somebody pulled all the timing, or somebody is turning the air conditioner on and off. I don't know how to explain it. And that happens all the time no matter if the car is cold or not. I have tried to log it on dsm link with no luck. When it is cold in the morning time it is almost dangerous to drive, I pull out in traffic and the car just falls on its face, bucking and kicking, then all of the sudden the car explodes like taking off out of a cannon? & If I put my old ECU back in its gone?

well Zeek, i will give you 500 for the awd swap kit on your GSX, and you can pick up the nice 1g....LOL

as for Link... i dont know much about it, but ive never had an issue with link changing my car unless i told it to... maybe you have a bad number or something put into your tune

Yeah double check the stupid LC1 I had to down grade to v1.00 because it's junk. So it can really be off....Innovate says you have to reprogram it, no matter what it has to be reprogramed. I'm getting sooo tired of trying to learn how to tune, could I get like 3 of you guy together to teach me the basics .... I honestly have to learn by doing not by reading ... I want to learn please teach me... I got soo f(*king tired of trying I almost sold the car, I even put it on CL for a day and then took it down, I did get some offers for 7,500 LOL I'm getting tired guys please help this will probably be the last time I ask. Oh I don't have the money to pay people to do this for me I've said this soooo many times now I want to learn how to do it myself.

I'll buy the wheels off of it Isaiah. :thumb: If it wasn't a '90 I'd probably be interested, unfortunately that isn't the case.

Ogami, attach a log to one of your posts with the car idling at 180*+ coolant temps and I'll look at it. Isaiah, you do the same.

The log that I posted a couple days ago is pretty much not changed I did reset the tps and stuff though I'll get you the one I just got yeserday though. Thank you Corey.
 
see, this is why i bought an MTX-L.... have only had one issue, and a re-cal fixed it
 
Flickering CEL's is either PK (phantom knock) from incorrect ALS/KNK settings in Link, a bad knock sensor, the AFR's are too rich/lean, or a combination of it all. Odds are MAF sliders need moved and a few numbers need changed and the car will feel better than it did off the dealership lot. ECMLink + a good tune can make a stock DSM drive better, just got to have the know how.

Attach a log, both of you, while the car is idling warmed up and we'll start there.

it could also be the coolant temps getting too high.

Well the LC1 died last night on my way home from work, I contacted Innovate and I have to cut it out and send it back to them for repair.... this sucks LOL I'm going to post my log tonight I was up for a good part of the night checking the lc1 over and over again
 
wow, ed, that looks clean as hell.... how much did that set you back?
 
Just picked up a red top, now I need to find a way to keep it from sliding everywhere... maybe drop it down like coreys
 
How did it lose ac? Doesn't it sit on the motor mount and transmission?
