Alright so I have a rewired walbro 255lph and PTE 1000cc injectors, aero AFPR,

Am I missing anything to start tuning on e85.

The main reson I want to switch is because of knock I'm getting know now after anything past 10psi. So I would rather just learn to tune on e85 then rather tune around knock then once on e85 have to rreverse all the timimg adjustments made.

Just to clear it up.

For initial set up right after you put e85 in tank and dial in injectors is there anything else to do before starting the car.

So just 2 queations if I need anything MORE to my existing fuel system to run e85 and what is the initial set up just change injectors?

But I'm geussing you will have to change fuel to change the stoichemetric ratio.

Ive already replaced the knock sensor, im not increasing timing ALL OF MY TIMING IS LOWER THAN THE STOCK TIMING MAPS,and i take timing out when i see knock.

Im wondering if lower than stock timing and 13psi should be knocking????

Im bout ready to just run e85 so i can boost a bit more.
And yes I have a WB hooked into the ecu

Also another question is that when I installed my fuel pump I forgot to lubricate the oring when I put it back in, could this cause fumbling once it starts for about 3 seconds.

I have all the suporting mods and im running 13* of timing at redline with 0 knock, do you think i am ready to run e85.

I have 255 wallbro, pte 1000cc injectors,aero afpr,and ecmlink v3 full for tuning

any questions or advice is greatly appreciated

You will love it! It's magic! I went from 91 octane to E-85 and WOW! I'm guessing your at least on 93 octane, right? I actually didn't see my IDC's increase at WOT because although it is using more fuel, I was tuning for a leaner AFR so it compensated. My IDC's at WOT were 60% before and after E85.

do a good search of all your local e85 stations, the 1 shitty part about e85 is there are very few places that carry it.

Post up some logs... Before an after.

Don't forget to change out your fuel filter a couple times after your first couple tanks. It will clean 20 years of crap from gas out real quick. The Stock filter despite what some say will work fine...

Also a note while tuning still try to stick with one station it's not uncommon for the the blend to be different from one station to the next... after your done tuning if you fill up an notice your leaner try an stick with that station (higher ethanol content)

You should be able to run at least another 7-8* of timing up top on higher boost with E85... just don't go crazy with your timing in peak torque an you should be good...

Two last things is your Walbro a 255 HP? an are running SD or a MAF an if so, which one?

Will definately post up some logs tonight

I have a walbro 255lph(liter per hour) fuel pump.

No im running 91 octane, is it normal for me to only be able to run 13* OF TIMING AT REDLINE with 91 octane before seeing knock.

I am running maf and i have a 2gmaf just no intake pipe so il probly get that on there soon, but for now just stock gvr4 MAF.

Is the banjobolt really a big restricting something i shoulD worry about
and what is IDC?

Thats about where I peaked out timing wise

It is a restriction, like I said I had to take out some fuel up top after that mod. maybe you wont be boosting enough to worrie about that but if you start running out of injector up top, switching that line might give you a little more room to play with.

heres a link of ecmlink tuning giving me some help...

as i know im knocking way to much for this much psi and timing.

im trying to configure my maf correctly but dont know how i know i have to dial in idle to .25 airflowperrev

and cycle between +-5% in the combFT at idle
