e85 am i ready?

do you guys think am ready for the swich, I know i need bigger injectors i plan on running around 25-28 psi. what size injector should i run and is everthing else ready to go, thanks.

There is a guy in my town running E85 in his 95 GST. He uses 1000cc injectors and he had to switch his fuel filter the day after the conversion. E85 cleans out the crap in your engine so make sure you get a decent fuel filter along with injectors!

I am not sure what he uses to control his timing/fuel however.

I have been researching about e85 with my 16g setup, and from what I gathher the key is all in the injectors being large enough to flow the 33% more fuel necessary to run e85. The rest of your setup seems good according to what I have read. The only thing I can't speak to is what prep you must do to switch, it would seem that since it is possible to have two seperate maps, for the case where you can't find e85, that prep only intails running your tank really low. At any rate I'm subscribing to the thread to see what othe input you get. Hopefully someone with true experience will speak up.

I plan on getting the fuelab ss fuel filter kit from stm is 6an lines to small my afpr lines are 6an and can my fuel pump push enough fuel or do i need a double pumper.

No you will be alright with just running a 255 fuel pump the fpr that your gonna get and like they said about injectors but it would probably be best to get at least 1000s and you should be good, then just figure out what your e85 tune has to be, tell us how it goes.
