this is what happens when you push boost to far on stock pump and injectors. right after the 1/8th mile mark i detonated in cylinder #3 bad thing was that this was at a track 3-4 hours away from my house.

mods: 14b @ 20+psi at the time, now running strong at 17 psi, n1 turboback, hks ssqv, old school airinx filter. ground control and kyb agx set to full stiff.

here is the video of it.

STOCK 7-BOLT!!!
1G TB
STOCK 2G intake

Dynoed 551fwhp at 35psi

Tried 40psi, but clutch let go at around 550whp, that sucked because I know it was over 600whp... :(

14.6 @ 105

big 16g, stock sidemount, stock internals, 3" exhaust, intake ic piping bov, ported mani & o2 housing, 550's and walbro 255, no tune whatsoever. Not recirculating bov. Creep to 20psi. Older tires & stock suspension

Whats changed this year:
New FMIC, BOV Recirculated, Bought SAFC & Logger, boost leaks fixed, plan to bring some drag radials with me this time! Haven't made and runs with the FMIC yet (car in garage) but the recirc. kit by itself made a signifigant power difference.

I ran a 15.2 @ 9 psi yeah thats 9lbs of boost on my 14b cause i had my manual boost controler hooked up way wrong then (dont worry i figured it out) oh and i no other mods then. thats straigt up stock. hmm wonder how much power i was losing because i wasnt at the 11 lbs stock?

I hope to god you get out of the 13s with that setup, im about to break into the 13s when i get my drag radials, and i only have 3 mods.

How does it run? I would think it would bog or something. I hope you have plans on getting a big turbo soon... Kinda a waste of all the supporting mods. IMO

I have run a best of 13.175 @103 mph

Mods are in the profile. Running Hacked 1g MAS kept getting fuel cut with any higher then 13 psi. Installed blow through over this winter, def. expecting some low 12's with around 20 psi.

Finally got to the track to run for the first time ever, only got to run two times and wasn't very impressed with either run, but they will have to do.
Mods: MBC set at 14psi (too much), DXD TZ Clutch, free mods. Ecsta ASX all seasoners with 95% tread left.
I was at full weight and rode with regular tire pressure.
My first run was nasty, I would like to blame it on the car I ran against which I was so amazed at that I wasn't concentrating on my driving; it ended up running a 9.9 at 135mph.

I took off too slow and my shift from 1st to 2nd was shakey.
My 2nd run was a bit better but still somewhat disappointing. I ran against my bro's Stealth TT.

My reaction time was better than his (.753) so I got a jump on him off the line (imagine that, FWD taking AWD, sorta anyways), but then he ended up coming back to pull a better 60' (1.998, what can ya do?), ultimately ending the run with a 13.8 at 97mph. It was a good run. but definitely have got to work on my 60'.
Well, time to really get to modding. :thumb:

I ran a 13.8 on street tires, and burned them up all the way down the track(3/4 more like)
Then my friend let me slap his hoosier drag tires on and I pulled a 12.4, that is a pretty damn big diff. Just somethig for all the FWD people out there to think about.----> most of my mods are on profile ask me 4 others.

I ran an 11.7 with Nitto's drag radials on a 20g.

11's are possible on drag radials, and I am sure that some people can go faster than that on drag radials too.

What kind of wheels did you have the DR's mounted on? What size tire are you using?

I had them mounted on stock 16" GS-T rims and they were 275/50 or 275/60. Pulled some good 60' times with them too.
