The stock 2g mas has been proven to work perfectly fine up to almost 500hp.
Then anything after that it starts to be a restriction.
I myself went gm maf/maf-t, trying to make the best of my 16g setup i have planned.

It's isn't the restriction that is the big problem. It's that after that power level the maf will be over run and won't meter the air properly.

That's what i meant, but thanks for the correction, i'm not too well at explaining things, but even though it gets overrun, it is somewhat of a restriction/disturbance to power.
But if you think about it, if you are making 500hp, your car can and will make a slight bit more if you ditch the 2g mas as the turbo will now spool and breathe better.
