i have a 1992 mitsubishi eclipse GS non turbo and i want to remove the stock air filter.
can I remove the air flow meter to plug the cold air intake filter i ahve bought?
if yes how can I remove the air flow meter from my car?
and if i keep it but replaced the filter only with an external one will i get more horsepower?

you cant take the MAF off permantely...hope that wasnt you question..but just unhook the air can(if you still have it) there should be a plug on the side of your air filter...then just replace the filter...easy

I think what he means is move the MAF? In that case you would need a translator to be able to move the MAF but keep the filter in the some place.

sorry read the post wrong....my bad...but i guess no1 makes mistakes around here accept me...i apologize
