I am using the 30-2820 8-Channel AEM Twin Fire ignition box on my DSM using AEM EMS for management and Chrysler 300M coils for a COP setup, and am only utilizing the Channels 1 and 3.

What am I supposed to do with the other complete harness for Channels 5, 6, 7, 8? Do I even need to plug in the harness pigtail, or can I leave it unplugged? If I need to plug it in, do I need to connect the ignition switch wires, or can I just cap all the wires? Do I need to also ground the channels 5, 6, 7, 8 channel inputs along with the Channel 2 and 4 inputs?

This setup is being utilized with the OEM ignitor removed, and tapping the coil 1 and 3 inputs/outputs, both channel ignition switch wires (red x 2), and the tan 540V wire. I have the coil 2 and 4 inputs grounded, and the rest of the wires capped.

This is the unit I have: AEM - Twin-Fire Capacitive Discharge Ignition Module. 8 Channel
The Instructions PDF is also linked on that web page, but it does not say what to do with the remainder of the harness if the entire harness is not being used. There is a seperate harness for Channels 1-4, and Channels 5-8. I am only using the harness for Channels 1-4.

Thanks for the information in advance!

Back from the dead but I am running the same setup and have yet to fire the car up. Did you ever figure out what to do? I have posted on this same thing and still no responses. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

I threw it in a box, put it in storage 5 years ago and purchased a Dynatek ARC-2 box. I had my 8-channel pop fuses on key-on and never function; they replaced it with two 4-channel ones and I had issues with both of them as well. No issues ever with the Dynatek.
