ACT Clucth????

Well i think I got scammed. But I want to make the better of it. I bought this act clutch fr 250 from a guy that was selling it on ebay. he said it was for a 1995-1999 420a so i got it then i had a friend tried to put it on and he said it wasnt for my car. so then im like WTF so i tried contacting him and he had deleted his account so i was like Fudge! well i just want to know for what car is this clucth for so i can put it and try to at least recover some money back these are the part numbers

Clucth B030599 03/13/03

Flywheel B058390 and it has this number on the flywheel as well PN600155 09/19/03


please help thats what happens when you see a good deal and you get it before thinking or doing some research

Might wanna call act, to find out for sure. That would be easier, a lot of us dont have that info lying around or do google for the part numbers , and cross reference good luck.

dose it say that it is an act clutch like on any of the parts and fyi for when your looking for a new clutch the 420a uses a modular clutch the plate flywheel and clutch are all one part riveted together.

The "BXXXXXX" numbers you listed aren't part numbers; I think they're serial numbers. It's impossible for us to tell what application they're for, though ACT may be able to help you.

The flywheel is the only part you for which you listed an actual part number. It's from an early 90's FWD DSM (i.e. not compatible with your car). I'd bet that the other parts are also for the same application.

As a few others have said, most 2GNT's came with modular clutches. A few '95 cars came with non-modular clutches, but you would need a few extra parts (often sold in a conversion kit) to use this type of clutch on your car.

I just bought a non-modular setup and am ready to get the parts needed fo rthe conversion. Where can I find these conversion kits?

Yeah you can just bolt that one on but you have to watch with those ebay cluthes. That is an eCluthmaster not a genuine cluthmaster its a knockoff brand. Some people love them some hate them. In my opinion I would buy a more trusted name brand when it comes to something like a clutch. To big of a job to have problems with a cheap clutch or something

I got about 5k on mine (in the daily. No real mods) and I beat the snot out of it on our local clubs rental day at the track. About 25 passes. Nothing but speed shifting. Held great and still works great.

The F1 clutches are IMO the best bang for the buck out there on ebay. They hold up to TONS of abuse and still have great pedal feel and grab. I started using them years ago and still haven't broken one.

what clutches are u referring to "F1"? and what stages are there the dodge adventure and dodge stratus and dodge neon clutches all the same like this one?

i Have close to 400 bucks so i either want to get something that is reliable and trusted because i been doing some research and they say the F1 suck and slip on other models I just don't want that to happen to me so any suggestions ?

ok well i might just get the F1 clutch. I been searching about this module clutch since i guess that's what our cars have and i was juts wondering if i buy this F1 clutch will it be a direct bolt on on would i have to do a conversion?
