Like I mentioned in my head gasket post I am rebuilding my engine..Im wanting to build it as strong as I can afford to. I cant afford H beam rods or super nice pistons right now but I noticed I can get stock rod & main bearings for about $50 or I can get "ACL Race" bearings for just like $40 more, they are supposed to be better for high rpm's and better for "race" built engines then the standers stock type bearings..So are they worth it? Anyone on here used these bearings? Pro's, con's, personal opinions? What do you think..I also was on a well known DSM parts site tonight that had the ACL race bearings and the ARP head studs in a kit together on sale. I cant for the life of me remember what site that was..Anyone happen to know? Thanks guys! Joe
