did all the 2g's come with abs? I just purchased a 97 spyder and i was driving it the other day in the snow (curse you missouri weather) and the tires just locked and stayed locked till i let off.

I think all turbo's did come with abs. The problem is they don't work or last very long. Most 2g owners simply remove the bulb from the dash ROFL. My guess is it stopped working a long time ago and the owner removed the bulb and you had no idea.

I wonder if this is normal in snow, I recall every time I break hard on snow my wheels lock up, all 4. I own a 98 GSX, so I'm assuming its got to have an ABS system. My light is not on (no problems), and it lights up when I start the car, so I know the bulb is not missing. Talk about winter weather, three days ago its was -5 with nasty winds and yesterday the snow was melting. :thumb: Off topic sorry. :dsm:

You should feel the pedal move a bit when it kicks in and in snow it tends to make sliding worse. If you didn't encounter the pedal shaking and your wheels locked up your abs is not working. Check the fuse is the only thing i can think of because all other issues, such as a bad wheel speed sensor, would turn the light on.
