I want to delete my abs. Now I've seen the kit thats about $220 with braided lines and all parts. Is there a kit out there that uses hard lines instead? Does any one have a walk through of doing it and some pics. I just don't feel like spending that much money when I can easily bend some lines my self.

Oh, and another comment, you do not have to remove the engine to do this swap, sure it would be easier, but its not THE ONLY WAY. I swapped mine the correct method with engine in car the whole time so who knew...

There is a huge difference between the hard lines between 1G and 2G because the ABS unit are in entirely different places. I began this mod today on a 1G w/ motor installed but w/o AC, emissions, battery relocated,.... and thought I'd remove all the hard lines intact for anyone who may want them but after getting only one easy one, hacked the others.

Also yanked the ABS computer behind passenger's seat which was a bi*** in my car w/ rollcage and the interior trim hiding it.
