? about crank timing mark

I got all the timing marks aligned, tensioner set. Every thing looks great. The ? I have is the notch on the plate behind the crank gear is about an 1/8 of a inch wide. Does the timing mark on the front cover have to be in the center of the notch on the plate behind the crank pully. The mark on the front cover is not in the center of the notch on the plate. When the cam gears are aligned the oil pump is aligned but the crank pully is just off center on the notch, its aligned with in the notch but not in the center. The timing mark on the accessory belt pully is at 0 degrees on the timing cover.

You might have to rechek your auto tensioner's settings, for if that is not within the two required specs, the marks can drift a bit.

When that adjuster is in the correct specs, all marks will line up exactly. There is no margin for error with the 4G63 - it has to be correct.
