Abnormal noise after BOV install....

After installing my new type-s today i noticed a real abnormal "thumping" noise that increases with engine speed and is only audiable if you put your ear right up or around the intake cone.... The car runs and boost perfectly, actually it runs 10 time better than before bc my 1g bov was leaking so might anyone have a clue... extreme shaft play in turbo, or did i adjust the type- s wrong, i dunno is this one of those times i shoudn't worry about it until i see something negavtive happen ?

Have you checked for shaft play in the turbo? or are u just suggesting it? check that first... its not going to hurt any ways... if your blowing off fine.. and holding boost you probably didnt adjust your type S wrong... check for boost leaks as well.. thats always a good thing to do...

UH.. I have a 2g and I did the BCS mod.. and when you install a boost controller the BCS vacume hoses dissapear... so you dont use the BCS at all.. you could remove it from your car if you wanted... or at least thast how mine is set up... and IM running a pritty solid 15 psi..

yea i checked shaft play a few weeks ago when i swapped all the hard pipes from my two cars, play was minimal and i was told u should suspect minimal play regardless, it did not seem like much at all to me... however the owner of it previously was some business guy and i think now that i own it and began swapping a few parts i may have sent it over the hill but to me the car runs great
