You're going to get that on any N/T DSM application, I found a use for my stock GS-T catback and installed it on my GS. Not sure if you're going to get a bump in power from it but it does have a better exhaust note.

Everyone has their own opinion about what sounds "ricey" and what doesn't. The N1 might be a really nice exhaust and have a lower note but, even then, once you get higher in the RPM band it's still going to sound ricey.

Here's a N/T with a N1 on it.

I have a Borla pro XS muffler. I don't have any sound clips but it sounds good and deepish. just youtube it on any NA 4 banger it will sound about the same.

The best and cheapest thing you could do is just go with the GST axle back..sounds A LOT deeper then the NA muffler. thats what im running now and i love it because i can shift at 4k around town without making tons of noise. and if you want power then run 2.5" straight piping to the GST muffler in the back.
