Got the rear suspension back together enough to start test fitting the rear wheels. Definitely going to be an interesting experience trying to squeeze these in the wheel wells. But spacing to the upright is perfect.

Yeah. Looks very beefy. Unfortunately rules state the wheel and tire have to be enclosed in the body work. A camber adjustment will definitely help, but still going to need a body massage

Yeah definitely joking. Theres going to he a camber adjustment just from the bigger tire alone, but won’t know for sure till I can get it on track and get some temp data.

This should be fun. About time I’m able to this now that the garage floor is nice and flat. So far, I seem to max out at .006” toe out in bump. And camber gain is about a degree or so.

So through the use of Bobbys upper rear arms, I moved the upright to the inboard hole. Haven’t had a chance to measure what the actual camber number is yet, but it definitely brought the wheel and tire in much better. Still gonna need to massage the body a bit. Ordered some S2K fender flares. We’ll see how it all works. Hopefully by next week I’ll have a clearer picture of whats happening back there.

My little over fenders came in today. Gonna start figuring out how I want to do it exactly. The forward edge of the flare will have to be cut down, but this should do the trick as far as keeping the wheel within the body work rules.

Got the bumpsteer dialed finally. Took a while of experimenting, but I got it pretty well sorted to only .007” of toe out in bump compared to the .048” or so with the factory tie rod. As I moved the tie rod up it only added, so I wound up going with the small standoff.

Had some Fun today Cutting and spacing the front fender to fit the new wheel package.

Ok…..sacked up big time for this. But, on the plus side, these pics are with suspension in full compression.

Drivers side fender flare is bolted on. Start the passenger side tomorrow.

Got the right side fender done. This side of the car got hit years and years ago, so the shape isn’t exactly the same as the other side. And there was a lot of bondo dust. But it’s on.
