Resolved 98 gsx awd auto pull it out of park but wont move

I have a 98 gsx that I just bought , has 6 bolt swap . Has new transmission but when u pull it out of park it doesn't move. It doesn't do anything in any gear.

Can you change just the pump? The guy I bought it from thought it was the converter. But pump makes sense because fluid is over full and when u pull it in gear the fluid doesn't go down.

Here is my 6 bolt auto block. Do you have the gold spacer plate that goes between the block and the trans? If not what Bryan said is correct.

Idk, would I be able to tell without removing the transmission? I can hear a loud vibration when revved coming from bellhousing

That's just a sticker from the company that rebuilt your transmission. The plate I'm referring to can easily be seen right by your turbo and water pipe.

Ok thanks man. I work almost 80 hours a week so I have a buddy that works at a shop so hes gonna give me a diagnosis. Whether it's the pump or that adapter plate, and then fix it as long as I buy the parts.

Turns out no adapter plate, so I have to rebuild and replace everything, trans, pump, converter, seals.

How long did you run it like that? You think the damage is further than just a trans pump & converter?

I never ran it, I bought it like that. And I'm rebuilding the tranny, replacing everything else, pump, converter, axles etc.
