97 gsx stock pil pressure gauge not working

ive checked to see if my car has oil pressure and i check alot as well and i do have oil pressure. my stock oil pressure gauge wont show any reading, however when i change the oil pressure swtich the gauge will read for a few days then fail again. i heard that by me removing the balance shafts, it screws around wtih the oil pressure making the oil pressure higher then normal, is this true?

Check the wire that goes to the sending unit. Sometime falls off.

the clip is on the pressure swtich tightly..the thing is whenever the oil pressure swtich starts failing ill put a new one in and it lasts only a few days then fails again, so i just stopped replacing it..i also heard that since i got my balance shaft elimination kit it makes a higher oil pressure so the stock sender unit cant read the high enough pressure
