I saw that wing at the pull and pay.... Nice pick up.... The Only thing I am looking for from there now would be a LSD rear diff..... Just finished a jacks trans and TCase with a act 2900 pressure plate and exedy sprung clutch.... Deff Digging the build, and glad you like the exhaust. You mentioned something about buying suspetion twice.... Get the GSX coil overs. They will work with your spyder during the time you are waiting on the rest of the parts for your swap. I have the JIC magic FLT-a2 and they were for the GSX and fit fine on the spyder before my build.....I am about to do the fog light mod sometime in the next week.

There's a GSX there that I was some what surprised to see there since it belonged to an old class mate from school. The rear Diff is still on it.

I really do love the exhaust :thumb:

I've since put in yellow fog light bulbs. Wasn't so sure about liking them at first, but I like them more than the originals.

Yeah I saw the Gsx. I was actually there as they where putting it out. I got the sparkpkug cover,AEM wide band,a turbo smart eboost2, a strut bar and a few other little small things from the engine bay. I can't use the automatic rear diff because it is a different gear ratio then the 5 speed...

Well in that case, I'll check to see if it came from a manual trans. It is an LSD, which I knew already, and you can see in post 46. So if it is manual, and you want it Albanator, let me know and we can work out a deal for you.

Yup that is the 3.545 bfh I am looking for.... I am just going to keep looking for it at the pull apart yard. Rear doffs are only 56 bucks from there and I have new seals and all for it already... It is not a nessety for me and well spending more on one is not that important yet.... Being AWD already I don't notice it as much but still something I am looking into.... Good looking out though! When are you going to start your swap? I thought you where going to do it during the summer?

Well, since starting my new job I haven't had much time for my Spyder other than routine maintenance and driving it to and from work. At this point I'm holding off on the swap until I can get a donor car. The parts I bought last year are all I've got. So I don't have any of the important parts like the bolts to hang the subframe, drive shaft hangers, or any of that. All I got is the rear end set up. So will be a little while longer. Plus I moved and no longer have a garage, which sucks, but I can live with it for now.

You should send me a link for all the seals and gaskets for the diff, been wanting to replace all those but wasn't sure where to start.

Had today off from work, so I took my car into work and fixed my power steering. I still think it's only fixed temporarily because I suspect my steering rack is leaking. I cleaned the chassis and all under hood items so that I can hopefully track down where the leak is coming from.

I also took the time to finish spraying rubber sealant on the under side of my canvas top. So far it works. Took my car through the dealership's car wash after letting it dry, and so far it's good.

I got home from class tonight and had this little guy waiting for me. Was a well spent $50 for it and programmed it myself in 5-10 seconds. So happy to have keyless entry again...

I also had my car up on my rack at work today for follow up inspection of my steering rack. I have to get it rebuilt to have power steering back. It's leaking from the passenger side. So that's probably where it's sucking air into the system causing my power assist failure.

Nice. Doing remote start?

I had keyless entry and remote start on my last 240 sx s14, it's a little tricky to do on a stick shift but its possible

So my T28 is failing again. Has side to side and in and out shaft play. I think I know why, but it wasn't due to the re-builder. He did some great work on it. So the little F@%ker is going to be retired as a lamp. I should hopefully be picking up a 16G from Denver this weeekend if all goes well. Also almost done building my valve spring compressor tool so I can replace my valve seals again.

My girlfriend and I decided to drive up Pikes Peak yesterday so took a lot of pictures of my Spyder... like 200ish, but these are just some of the better ones.

Although the first one looks black and white, it's actually in color...

Here's a few more similar shots. Eventually I'll have a real camera to get better pictures with better effects. I'm surprised my phone takes pictures this decent. If you ever end up out this way, I'll take you up the mountain.

Found some black door panels the other day while browsing through the salvage yard.

Also finally swapped out my front struts last night. There's no really any ride difference, but I think that's because I've had the struts for 6 years now and never installed them on anything. But glad I did, the originals were bad. In fact the passenger side one still hasn't expanded since I pushed the piston in last night.

Not really an update for my car, but just showing some other things. Doing a side project for a really good friend, who also loves DSMs. Also redoing my gauge and button lighting. Still going to be red for mine, but a new setup with crisper lighting that doesn't have dark spots.

So I haven't mentioned this in my build thread yet, but I've decided to do a gauge cluster swap on the Spyder. I'm doing this for really 2 reasons. 1: the cluster I bought I really like and is very modern in comparison to our cars. 2: it'll clear up the cluster display by having the factory boost and oil pressure gauges removed altogether. Those I will have on the pillar or whatever other location I think of and will be more accurate than factory anyway.

So anyway, the cluster I'm using is from the 2014 Honda Accord V6 Coupe. I know, I know.... Honda parts in a DSM is sacralige. I never thought I'd do such a thing, but just look at it:

It actually looks good in there. It is not a dirrect fit part, but pretty damn close. I only did some minor trimming to get the factory bezel to fit in with the cluster.

I will be getting some sturdy, but flexable black plastic to fill in the gaps, and I'll be testing out some acrylic for a cluster lens. As soon as Honda's online ETM's go back to working properly I'll have access to the wiring schematics to wire this thing up and turn it on. Also have a good start on getting the right parts to have the speedo, tach, and ETC calibrated and function properly with the cluster.

This cluster WILL look like it was a factory part when I'm done.
