Hi z injectors are the way to go now. Fic sells 2150s and 1100s. 1100s will support 535 hp at stock fp @90%duty cycle. Just a thought.

This is actually one of the little issues right now for E85 users. There is this huge gap in the high Z injector lineup, from 1100 to 2150cc. All the sizes in between are low Z.
At the same time, injector people are saying that their latest design tweaks are going into the high Z models only, not the low Z ones.
I don't get it, because if you had stand-alone engine management (Vipec, AEM, Haltech, etc), you would probably have true peak-and-hold injector drivers and those drivers would be able to make the low z injectors work like they are supposed to. For any engine management based on a modified-stock ecu (like ECMLink) you don't have peak-and-hold drivers unless you add them as a separate module, so then I can see where injectors designed from the ground up as high Z would be better.

BTW, 535 hp is the gasoline rating for the 1100's. FIC rates them like this for E85:

WHP on E85 at 43.5psi 90%DC Turbo - 411

I was typing that reply before I knew he was going to run e85. You can always call one of the companies and tell them what your goals are and they'll give you a recommendation.

Yea i will be running 91 octane rating for now. I cant get E-85 were i live. I live 2 hours away from nearest place with E-85. I have been looking at logs and think i can get by with these. I have had my eyes on these sense i started my build.

Yeah, I think Emery at STM is a good guy and would not steer you wrong if you were on the phone with him. He might not be on phone duty these days, but anyway, I like STM.

Those 1250s are nice and I like they all have the data flow sheets now, I want to switch back to pump and e 85 If I feel the need so I called fic and they said they were good injector to go with.

Yea i have had my eye on these for a bit now. I am gonna get them probable. Then i already did my tank to rail kit. I got the -6AN. I put it on just before winter.

Nice gonna weld mine on my passenger side its got a big hole in, then clean it up and before I repaint my engine bay. Nice progress.

Yea im going to redo the whole engine bay. I thought i will like it black and the more i seen my original color the more i wanted my bay back. Have to figure out how im going to get all the black off now. I have a way to go but getting there. I got to repaint the whole car anyway sense i did my 97-99 conversion.

Yes im going to repaint the car, but leave the bay for the last thing its going to be a while because of all the things I plan on doing, from wiring, to making it to me one nice 1g tsi around at least around here only 4 or 5 is see from time to time, a friend has a nice black one and another has decent one too, but this is going to take time, started in 94 and still haven't done what I wanted to .

Yea this has been about a two year project. I have on it on and off but for the past year and 6 or 7 months i have been hitting it hard. Just a long project. I have done alot sense i got the car as well if you seen before and after. Its crazy. And yea not many dsms around here so mine will be one of a kind in my area.

Ordered my GSC S2 cams and my high-rev springs. I cant work in the garage this week so im working on the ordering and the harness. I need to finish my engine bay i put the bondo down before it got cold here in Colorado.

You can find a dyno sheet on here and look at those dyno logs. I don't remember the numbers. There is a 650hp awd on youtube. Just have to look some.

Update the head is coming together. I have springs almost all in then order updated lifters. Not sure what brand. I will get pictures soon. Bay is also getting done to paint.

Stock valve spring is on left in picture and GSC hi rev spring right. Just to see what it looks like. Also on last spring then ordering zero tick lifters. I have everything else i need.

Sorry i havent posted in pictures or updated in awhile. I just ordred my BC adjustable cam gears. I have harness almost complete and will be taking pictures soon. Sorry i haven't posted to this in years tuners. Its been busy had to move. So had to put car all back together as a roller. And have a getting married next june. Got a house. Busy busy. Anyway got harness done by ohm racing. Sent everything off i did already. Came out bad ass. Also engine bay i got all the way done. Has looks great for useing harbor freight gun $10. Friend helped me. Also ordered a intercooler from ets even though they dont make piping. Got a de-powered rack and pinion. The hatch area needs a bit more work then time to spray it. Im sure im missing other things i have did. Thank tuners.

How disturbing that ETS doesn't offer piping kits anymore for their 1g and 2g intercoolers. They've got pipes every way possible for the evo 8 and 9.
