95 Gs Rebirth

Okay folks, This is my first Eclipse. I have always loved the body style on the 2gs just never had the chance to own one over the years. While a buddy of mine bought this on in hopes to restore it and he didnt get anywhere. he gave this to me for an oil painting and I had to remove the car that day. well i have had it for about 3 months and just figured i would post my progress so far. Now this is a slow build pretty much only when i have time to work on it.

When it first came to my house...

Since getting it to my house i haven't had much time to work on it. So far i have picked up stock hood, front and rear seats, new plastics, stock side skirts, and a new rear bumper. i have also cut out the cage.

My goal is to return it to stock and just daily drive it. Redo the interior, upgrade some suspension, nice wheels.

Im gonna have some time on my hands here over the next month so im really gonna get into this project.

I remember seeing this car on craigslist and thinking that he would never get his asking price.....i guess he didnt because you traded a painting for the car . Interested in how this turns out.

haha idk how my buddy got it but he pretty much gave it to me... whoever had to before me did a number to it tho!

I'll glad to see that you are going to but this car out of it's misery. Good to see someone working on a 420a. Need more builds on them.

havent made to much progress yet i have the dash out trying to fix all the wiring!!! it has 2 alarms an after market, cluster face, an after market cruise control unit, kill switches, and shotty wiring under the hood.. its been a pain in the ass but trying to get it all done up!
