95 Auto Tranny to 96

A friend of mine is swapping a tranny from a 96 eclipse to a 95 talon (both auto). What are the possible issues that could come up with this transition? Thanks!

There shouldn't be any if they are both the same trim levels. If one is a GST or GSX and the Talon is a 420a (or vise versa) then you'll have issues. But if it's an AWD trans going into an AWD car, FWD turbo trans going into a FWD turbo car, or n/a trans into an n/a car you'll be fine.

95-96 should be exactly the same. 97+ would be different.
