please post a log? My car and I are only dreaming of making 425-450whp on pump with meth. Damn I need someone with dsmlink in my area to lend a hand with my set up.

In the first video is sounded like you actually lost traction in your pull at 10 seconds.

You're right it did spin on that pull. That was the first pull right off the street. I lower the tire pressure and didn't have any problems after that on the next 2 pulls.

As for the logs, I don't have any now. Maybe I'll save one from tomorrow at the track;)

so whats the top speed on 5th?? i really want to see? is it like that with awd as well?

AWD have shorter gears so no. I have no idea what the car tops out in 5th and probably never will. I hardly rev out 4th on the street unless its a close race or tuning. Slowing down is a b*tch going that fast.

dam, well ## car is slick.. wish i had spent that much on mine alrady.. some day. someday.

What's the deal with the Evo III Intake Manifold vs the stock 2g Intake Manifold?
I am going to get a JMF twin scroll T3 manifold fab'd for my 7-blade HX35 with a 12cm^2 non-wastegated housing.
What rpm are you seeing 25psi by?

Sweet numbers man!!! HOLSET TURBOS!!! Makes me want to get my car running properly with my HX40. When do you see full boost?

Nice!, I remember seeing your manifold in the Part 8 thread.
Is yours a 7-blade?
What rpm do you see 25psi by in 3rd gear?

8 blade. My turbo doesnt spool that fast since I have the stock backhousing and a open manifold. Probably around 5k in 3rd. Im not 100% sure honestly. The car still has a good powerband. I just break boost so it doesnt lag and at the track it never falls out of boost.

The stock 2g intake manifold/throttle body suck. Since I don't have any head work the evo3 is a good combo.

That was 25psi + in 5th gear by what 3200rpm?

Oh this isnt my car at all loool I WISH! it is a 7 blade tho. i asked the owner and he said he sees 25psi by 3.5K in 3rd and 25psi slightly over 3K in 5th.

That's fast, but testing spool in 5th is dumb there is a shit ton of load on the car and while it might help show what it would be like cruising on the highway it won't help with the 2nd or 3rd gear rolls.

I can say if i did it again, i would do TS with TS, buy richard has shown us what it can do open to TS, good job again.

Thats pretty similar to how my turbo acts.

Sounds like you and I make the same power except I'm going through all four wheels. When I dyno'd it was on 30 psi, 100+ outside and humid, and a pretty convervative tune. I have the 7 blade version.

I'm going back to the dyno in February with a JMF Drag manifold, cut out, and 35 psi. Gonna try and crack 6hundo. I doubt it will happen without some higher compression pistons and possibly head work, but who knows. I definetly don't think 560-580 is out of the question.

The HX35's continue to impress me, the HX40's.......not so much really.

Mine also spools extremely slow. I get 25-30psi by 5500rpm. Its most likly the wrong manifold set-up. I wonder if this effects output of the turbo if it effects spool so much?

I'll get back to you later.

The effects of a true twin-scroll setup versus an open manifold mated to a twin-scroll housing.

Ya for sure. But spool is overrated anyways. My car never goes below 6k rpm when I'm racing so its always spooled.

I went to the track tonight..Only got two passes though. 11.2@133, 1.86 60ft and 11.2@134, 1.89 60ft. The first pass the car was missing in 2nd and 3nd so I changed out the plugs only to find out Im out of pump. I need some suggestions on a new fuel setup. Right now I have 1600s and one rewired wablro. stock lines and filter.

Is there a intank bosch for a 2g and will it outflow two intank walbros?

Your problem is that you are above the walbro's crack pressure. At 75 psi of fuel pressure the pump's flow just plummets. SO what I would try is dial back your base fuel pressure to around 35 and adjust your global accordingly. Then retune. If you are to lean, add a little base pressure back. It will take some trial and error, but you have big injectors that have some room to play with.

Thanks, but I rather just redo it all since it needs to be done. There is no reason to run one pump to the max when I can get the right setup. I don't want that pump to fail and hurt the motor
