Hi all, im doing a 7 bolt NON-turbo 4g63 build, and im wanting to buy a lightweight flywheel. I cant find one though for the FWD, just for the awd. anybody know were i can get a FWD 7 bolt flywheel. thanks

OoOoOo.... hey some guy very close to me has a 7bolt Turbo flywheel, would this work on my non-turbo?

Turbo and non-turbo flywheels are not the same and are not interchangeable. You could use a turbo flywheel, but you would be required to use a turbo transmission and clutch kit with it.

so if i install a turbo trans, do i have to do anything else to the car to make it work? diff axles, hubs?

I thought N/A 4G63's have the same flywheel. I'm using a head off a NT on my turbo car...

Axles depend on the year of turbo transmission you get; '93+ FWD axles are thicker, specifically on the diff side, meaning an earlier axle will not fit the diff without modification. Hubs should be the same regardless.

They don't. Heads are not the same as flywheels. :D

i got a response from that road race enginnering place, they said they have a flywheel but id have to use a TURBO clutch???? sounds odd to me, seeing how the flywheel should be made specifially for a non-turbo???

You might want to call back and confirm what it is they told you. As far as I know, a turbo clutch disc cannot be used with a 1G non-turbo flywheel.

i sent a reply, and

1. They didnt answer my question regarding compatibility, they just keep saying, you need to use a turbo clutch and then they said is your car making a bunch of HP???? im not doing business with them.....
