We have a 6-bolt swapped 2g that we just put together, this one is without DSMlink right now.

Tried starting it with this setup, if you hit the gas it runs up to 3k and then dies off. If you just crank, it hits 1k and dies. You can also keep it running by jabbing the throttle. A look at the plugs indicates that they are rich. It poofs white smoke, but can't nail that one down since it's a new motor.

Any Ideas for this symptom?

The CAS is in about the center alignment position at the moment. We are 99% sure engine timing is ok.

95, non-EProm
Fresh Motor, Professionally Assembled

1G CAS, with Magnus Connection Adapter

2G IM (yes i know it's not right, but still shouldn't cause idle probs)

1G ISC (was very oily from the old motor)
1G TB

Race vacuum setup
EGR Blocked off
Backing out the BISS some didn't help it.

2g COIL: 4,3,2,1
1g Head: 2,4,3,1

Injector Trigger Swap on the ECU harness

Spark: yes, might be getting close to foul, but were brand new
Fuel : yes, maybe too much

You don't need to swap pins to get it to run correctly, so don't worry about that right now. Sounds like it might be a timing issue. You can't just set the CAS in the center, you have to get a timing light and actually set the timing. I'd start with that.

EDIT: You already swapped the pins. Misread :) Also, check the obvious... boost leak test, double check fuel pressure and timing marks.
