hey guys i have looked over what parts needed to do the swap and i was wondering do i have to use the front cover/oil pump case off a 2g 7 bolt?

Let me reiterate what mchustle said:

The front cover from a 7 bolt won't fit the 6 bolt block, but why would it need changed anyway?
The CAS from the 6 bolt should be wired as shown in the link in order to provide the ECU an appropriate signal for both the 2G CAS and CPS inputs.
