i have a 2g with a full 1g motor swap..tons and tons of brand new parts.....
i am having a problem with the starter not hitting the flywheel.. but i do not have any kind of alignment plate.. is that what i am missing???
car will be for sale for 10,000
all brand new parts...
18' rims tires..57 trim turbo..780inj..e-manage..e-01 boost controller..lots more..:beatentodeath:[/FONT]

yeah theres a plate that goes between the tranny and the motor that helps with the starter

Sounds to me like you've got the wrong flywheel installed; FWD & AWD flywheels are a different diameter. If you try to use an AWD flywheel on the FWD, your starter's teeth won't be able to engage the ring gear. ;)

BTW, it's not a good idea to put any references to the car being up for sale in the tech questions sections; you're lucky the thread hasn't already been locked (or at least severely edited). Finally, capitalization and punctuation can be your friends when used correctly! :D
