6 bolt Swap Question

whats up everyone?? new to this forum...
i have a 2g with a full 1g motor swap..tons and tons of brand new parts.....
i am having a problem with the starter not hitting the flywheel.. but i do not have any kind of alignment plate.. is that what i am missing???
car will be for sale for 10,000
all brand new parts...

yeah theres a plate that goes between the tranny and the motor that helps with the starter

Seems kinda pricey for that car. Is that all that stops it from running?

Sounds to me like you've got the wrong flywheel installed; FWD & AWD flywheels are a different diameter. If you try to use an AWD flywheel on the FWD, your starter's teeth won't be able to engage the ring gear.

BTW, it's not a good idea to put any references to the car being up for sale in the tech questions sections; you're lucky the thread hasn't already been locked (or at least severely edited). Finally, capitalization and punctuation can be your friends when used correctly!
