6 Bolt question

Please do not flame me about this question. I bought my Talon with a new motor in it. What my question is, is if it is a 6 or 7bolt. I did check vfaq on how to tell, and I do have the 6bolt oil pan. should I be safe to conclude that I infact do have a 6 bolt because of that? Or can you change the oilpans...etc

If you have a 6 bolt oil pan, then you have a 6 bolt engine. The mounting surfaces are different between 6 and 7 bolt engines.
