So I have a 98 gs eclipse and I’m swapping it with a 4g63 from a 95 gst, since the motor is on the complete other side how do I go about motor mounting

The fact you asked the way you did says you have done zero research. Do some searches and its going to tell you its not worth the headache. I'm not trying to discourage people from trying things, but due to the stuff required to mount it properly you're probably not qualified to do the swap (it's not just you, its most people) with everything involved. It's not just a simple modify and bolt in answer. You're better off to sell your GS and by a factory turbo car if you want to stay 2g.

This is a topic that comes up far to often and its been completed probably less than 10 times in the past 25 years. Why? Because it's not an engine swap, it's an entire platform swap, engine, drivetrain, electrical, ecu etc. It's simply not worth it 99.9% of the time.

This is exactly right. This would be the same as if you wanted to put a 4g63 into a Honda civic. The fact that a gst and a gs look similar isn't relevant.
