2G 4G63 98 mtx Spyder GS trans cover

Help please
Found my tranny leaking on my 98 spyder, discovered this casing cracker and punched out
This is a new acquisition and needs this part before I fix the misfire
Previous owner mentioned 5th gear issues hmnnn
Anybody know the correct name and or part number?
Or have one?
Anything appreciated guys

That's the end cover and that damage is usually from the nut coming loose on the shaft under the cover.

4g63 N/T? They didn't make those in America. Did you mean to type 4g64?

I wouldn't throw it in the trash. You MAY have to have it welded up. I did a search for F5M33 end covers and came up with a big ZERO. It is a common issue for the end nuts to come loose and off as @motomattx said. I have had that issue myself but the nut hadn't come off yet.

Yes the nut came loose and dug into the cover, I am not sure if its a 63 or 64 ?
Its a 98 and new to me. So it has a hairline Crack as well, I guess it could be welded carefully because of the gear it seems to retain. If welded, do you use locktite or a cotter pin deal?

Since it's a Spyder you have the 4g64. It is similar to the 4g63 though. For future reference, the 4g64 is a 2.4 and the 4g63 is a 2.0. Only the ones from out of country have an N/A 4g63.

Checked out the cleaned up cover, another # inside D742105 may be SAD its worn down

My bad that is correct, its a 4G64 mtx, looking at a gst coupe as well
