Resolved GST Trans Fit Spyder GS?

My auto trans on my 98 Spyder GS (4G64) went out. I have an spare manual trans from a 97 Spyder GST (4G63). I haven't found a direct answer but will the GST trans bolt up the 4g64 block?

Yes, a GST transmission will bolt up to the 4G64 in the non-turbo Spyder. Be sure to remove the pilot bushing before attempting to mount the flywheel.

Also, be aware that the axles would need to be changed - the GST uses 27-spline axles at the differential where the N/T Spyder uses 25-spline axles.
