i know its not a 4g63, but still a mitsu engine. my car started running like ass, i checked the timing and its showing that i'm about 45-50*BTDC. i can't turn the dissy enough to get it back to 5*. i pulled out the dissy and spun it one tooth counter-clockwise and can get the timing back to 5*, but it won't run. so i put it back. i'm thinking the belt slipped, if i was to spin the cam one tooth counter-clockwise, that would also spin the rotor, putting me where i need to be, right? what doesn't make any sence is i've taken the belt off a couple times lined up the timing mark on the crank pully, and the cam gear. and it won't run. someone help me please.
