4an lines for catch can

Would 4AN lines be big enough to run for a catch can? I happen to have a few laying around and am cleaning things up. I currently run rubber hose that appears to be bigger than the 4 AN lines I have. Just curious what you guys think.

I don't think 4AN lines would be big enough. Most people run 8 or 10 lines when they weld fittings on the valve cover.

The reason I ask is the hole in the VC is actually very small. It taps to 1/8npt without much work. Oh well It works fine with the rubber hose I use now.
