That casting was designed in 1987

That is a small valve small runner head has bolt down rocker arms, non-adjustable

Fords are simple to figure out.

The Letter is the decade, the number is the year in the decade.

C= 60's
D= 70's
E= 80's
F= 90's

So the E7 os a 87
C9 would be 69
D0 would be 70

The same casting number mat have been used for decades also, mainly on connecting rods.
 
I see the first hard launch in a DSM ending with a car body with a cracked windshield, and doors that do not open and close right!

Lol. Saw it once. Not sure but I think it was either a Chevette or Nova.

Unibody + TORQUE = every window in the car shattered upon launch, car looked like a lowrider 3-wheelin' when the driver pedaled and then got back into it after his windshield shower. Whole car was severely bent. Guy wasn't quite right in the head to begin with though.
