above 4k rpms my motor "420a nt"will make a winding noise and i have read a few threads but no info besides it might be a water pump going out.any input would be great also my motor has i,h,e, everything else is stock.

...wonder if the "T-belt" is too tight causing "belt sing" under high RPM's?

that makes sence,it does sound like the timing belt.and yes it is a whining noise.the car just hit 100k miles.any more info would be great guys thank you:thumb:

it could be any of the belts they could be either too tight or cheap belts I had one too tight it made noises then it snapped but I bought a autozone belt and it was raining and it got wet and starting whining then eventually broke

the car just hit 100k miles
Yep, bet that "T-belt" is ready to bust on you then. Bet it's stone dry and brittle causing to whine over the sprockets at your high revs. plus, the rollers -tensioner and idler are also getting very tired as well in which you could also have bearing whine with these rollers in along with the belt.

Better think about this one seriously. good luck-DSM
