420A 420a turbo not building boost after external wastegate

i found the problem so I’m gonna use this post to help anyone with the same issue, if your car starts and runs fine until it gets hot replace the fuel pump

it seems to be driving good (besides the fact it won’t boost) I just want to make sure that it won’t be detrimental driving it like this until I can find someone to weld it for me, I used a wire to kinda help it

You're good. If it won't boost it is open. That won't cause any issues besides being slow as a slug.
Wired closed on the other hand would cause over boosting and lead to detonation/knock or possibly worse.

I actually wire mine open when I have to get emissions testing done so the "tech" doesn't accidentally boost it while on the dyno rollers.

I have an external wastegate on the manifold does keeping it open still apply?
