41te issue

My 95 Talon ESI with the 41TE trans has 1st and reverse only. No CEL I pulled the pan expecting to see significant metal in the pan......pan was clean. I have searched looking for any info I can. Could the solenoid pack be the issue?

You have second and reverse. It's either the speed sensors, solenoid pack, or TCU unit. Start cheap and work up.

Thanks for the reply. I'm getting the solenoid pack and 2 speed sensors today. Hope all works out.

Just an update....replaced the solenoid pack, input & output speed sensors. No change still in limp mode. Possibly a TCU issue? Don't feel comfortable throwing any more money at it. Will have it looked at. Thanks for all the help.
