my afr's during a pull are always 9.4 in link and 10 on my gauge.. I have tried decreasing fuel via sliders, and adding timing in DA, but the end result is always loads of knock, and decreased power. I just end up back on the stock timing map, which works. Any ideas?

Also, turbo is a hx35 in bep .55 bolt on housing. Is it supposed to spool that slow? No boost leaks, and no shaft play.

1. Adding timing will always make the car more knock prone and won't adjust AFR's.
2. Are you sure your Prosport wideband is setup properly inside ECMlink?
3. Where is the sensor physically located in the exhaust?
4. Hitting 23psi by 5500 RPM is slow for that turbo.
5. I see you have barely any adjustment on the upper Hz levels of the MAF Comp table - are you sure this is correct? If it's not, it'll cause a variance between your wideband reading an AFRatioEst inside link.
6. When was the last BLT done and with how much pressure?
7. Are you sure your Boost settings inside link are correct? Seems like you went about the setup backwards and didn't touch the Base Duty Cycle table (used to increase boost) and went right to the Target table (used for error correction, after you have the Duty Cycle table setup).

Sensor is located in place of factory o2. I'm going to build a new blt and test it again. My mafcomp appears to be close as my actual boost and boostest match up pretty good. I tried to use duty to set boost, but it would never hit my target boost. I'm still working on it.

The slow spool is absolutely because of your base duty cycle settings. Read through that link that Brian posted and continue to play with it...

As for the tune. You need to work on your MAFComp sliders to get your WB to match your AFREst, there's a WBFactor % that tells you the amount of change needed on the slider for that MAFRaw (Hz) reading. Say for instance you're WB is logging a 9.4:1 AFR and your AFREst is 10.9:1, the WBFactor is -13.7% and at that point in the log your MAFRaw is 1300Hz. You need to adjust the 1300Hz MAFComp slider down -13.7%. You do this through the entire 3rd gear pull and AFR's should be pretty damn close next time.

Also, lean (12.5~13:1) AFR's and higher timing advance (20*) during spool-up, once you get your base duty cycles setup correctly. When the car hits full boost (peak torque) you'll want to dip timing to about 5-8*, whatever it takes so you aren't knocking, and make sure AFR's are 10.8~11:1 throughout the rest of the pull. After you hit full boost gradually bring timing back, you should be around 10-12* advance by 7.5k on pump gas if you aren't knocking.

Looks like a fun setup, just work on the tune so you can enjoy it.

Thanks gofer, for months I've been trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong, and there it is. I will correct those items, and hopefully update this thread with a finely tuned pull.

my afr's during a pull are always 9.4 in link and 10 on my gauge..

If AFR is truly "locked" at those values, then you are either:

1). Running so rich that you are pegging the gauge and Link display so that small changes don't seem to have any effect, or
2). Your wideband isn't reading/hooked up properly.
