ok so i am trying to figure this link stuff out. Since I have a 1g I changed my timing sliders to the 2g settings.

-Can I just use the DA timing tables from here on out?

- Wherever I see knock, pull timing as long as afr's are ok?

You should use either the DA tables of the sliders but not both. i'd suggest using the DA tables, they're a whole lot more precise. if you want all you have to do is download the 2g maps off of ECM links web site under the wiki. v3liteconfigs [ECMTuning - wiki] . check it out.

ok. I ended up using the evo 8 mod1 map and adjusting from there.

Here is the latest log.

2 things I need to learn.
How to get afr est. to match actual.
How to get ltft to zero.

Anything else I should look for?

Personally i don't worry about ltft , i just watch combined fuel trim it averages the fuel trims for you a true perk of v3. make sure to lock your egr input on the inputs page under ecu config log. and save to ecu.

There's a box you check to lock the egr temp pin. by locking it the ecu sees a number it likes, and it frees up the input to get a clean signal for the wideband.

why would you want to run a 2g or evo timing table???? thats uneccessary... return both your timing and fuel DA tables back to stock 1g and start over.. Your only on a stock motor and turbo so there is no need to pull that much timing on the stock 1g timing table or run an evo8 map. The knock you were seeing is probably from being a little too lean.. what gas are you running?? shoot for a safe AFR of around 10.2-10.4 for now till you get it dialed in better, then retune your cruise / idle.

What Wideband are you using?

Also invest in a Map sensor, I would recomend an OMNI 4 bar.... they are fairly inexpensive and are very easy to hook up and log, and with that you can get your airflow and boost diald in better.

and just for reference on timing, when I was on my 14b @ 19 psi I was running 14* @ 5k rpm,16*@ 5500, 17* @ 6k rpm, 18* @ 6,500 rpm with AFR's in the mid 10's.

And can you post an Idle log for me?? and post a full wide open throttle 3rd gear pull from 3000 to about 6500 rpm

I read it a few times where poeple are saying the stock 1g timing is too aggressive.

I just noticed your also on a 16g.... here is one of my logs for you to reference off of since I am running a 2g maf, similar injectors and a 16g. maybe even try using my timing map and turn the boost up a little more.
although your log looks pretty good, that is really low timing and is meant for an 8.8:1 compression motor. you should be able to run alot more timing than that.

aslo you need to do a TPS adjust if that was WOT....I did it for you though....put in -5 and 103
