I have a 98 gst that i recently put a 16g with headers and ic piping and an injen intake. now im running 158.-16.3 AF at idle i have turned up fuel pressure to 60psi .Ok guys so hear is the question. I have a 300zx fuel pump off twin turbo, can i install this in my gst and will it help out with AF with out injectors...will be installing SAFC2 tomorrow to help tune

First off, how are you monitoring your AFR? If its not a wide band, your numbers don't matter. Why are you so worried about afr at idle? Does it idle fine? 60psi of base fuel pressure is a bad thing on stock injectors. Should be 43psi. Remember, that with a 1:1 afpr it adds 1psi of fuel pressure for every lb of boost. A 16g running 20psi with a base pressure of 60psi will end up as 80psi. Pressures that high can hold the injector closed, can you say melted piston?:notgood:

You do need an upgraded fuel pump, but you should probably stick with a wally 255 and a rewire.

My 6 bolt swapped 2g idles around 15-16:1 on a wideband with 850cc injectors and a wally 255 tuned on DSMLink, so your numbers aren't that far off.

Yes i am still on stock injectors. I ask because i was gifted this fuel pump. I am only running 14psi of boost and im not racing at this time till i get it all figured out. Right now WOT is at 15.0 af used to be 10.0 stock. Only did that once because i new it was to lean.
