Evo metal BOV options that would work as drop-in replacements are part numbers 1545A001 or 1545A007, the difference being the orientation / position of the vacuum nipple for the line running to the intake manifold.

IMO, 1545A007 is oriented “better” for a cleaner install, closer to how the 2G BOV originally was oriented.
Look up using a 1g blow off valve on a 2g. There is an adapter flange sold and will appear stock while negating the short comings of the plastic Bosch blow off valve that came on the 2g’s. The Evo 8 and 9 blow off valve is pretty much the same design as a 1g but mounts differently, if I recall theyre easy to adapt as well.

I broke that nipple off and jb welded it back on. Lasted 7 years until I upgraded the bov. Might be able to thread in a brass nipple and seal it in place.

The later evos have basically the same design but with the nipple on a different side. I believe the evo x uses a metal bov of the same design.

They also sell adapters to bolt on whatever bov you'd want

The Evo IX MR had a metal version of this exact BOV that works and performs like a 1G BOV does. Or you can source a 1G BOV w/ adapter for super cheap (check eBay, you can find the 1G BOV adapters for like $20 shipped there) as well. Both are upgrades.
