Hi i decided to post here since i did not want to make a mistake posting at a place its not suppose to be posted.
I have a 97 eclipse gst with a bundle of problems.
1st the car has a 6bolt swap arp mains and heads, every thing else is pretty much stock car besides 3" catback exhaust. Ready for the problems here goes nothing.
As of right now the car idles at 2200 i know i checked bis screw, its all the way down, my iac is unplugged, even with it plugged idle stays same. checked for boost leaks no leaks i checked every thing and i mean every thing.
last week i hooked up a scan tool to it found plenty of codes, knock sensor, map sensor, maf sensor, and some thing else i cant remember
I checked and adjusted timing to 8 degrees still same thing.
Here comes the worst thing of all, when i step on the gas and start to build boost before it hits 5 pounds the car starts to sputter and miss soo much up to a point where the exhaust sounds like gun shots i let of the gas and car runs normal, go any where close to 3-5 pounds car sputters all day. i disconnect the waste gate and run 0 boost the car runs normal no matter how far i step on the throttle. i will be hooking up a scan tool to it again tumorow just to see if i can even narrow it down.
iv changed the maf sensor, ecu and cas with no change at all. i just need a push in the right direction because i have checked almost every thing with little or no change at all all the any help is highely appreciated.
