2G 2g GST auto to manual swap

Hi guys!

I'm from Asia, my A/t is having problems, instead of a rebuild, I would like to have a MT conversion, but the Problem is - we don't have much Mt Eclipse here in our country. Is it fine to use RVR Manual transmission?

Would it be compromised if I tune the engine and upgrade to a bigger turbo?

What problems are you having with the auto unit? I am not up on the RVR stuff but I believe that they are a lighter duty unit, but I am not for sure on that.

After driving for 20-30minn , my trans will downshift hard, jerks, and sometimes stucked.
It whines on neutral only, and the whining gets louder as I rev in neutral.
The problem occurs when theres whining.
Initially, there no whining, but after driving for 20-30mins the issue will start.

Back to the conversion-
What about using rvr turbo trans?

Lets see if we can get any transmission guru's to chime in.
@Tre or @twicks69 or @bastarddsm , do any of you know anything about the RVR transmission and how strong/weak it is and if it will even bolt up?

Another option is the galant GTI?
