Hit the track again tonight since we had a cold front come through in south florida. Had some problems holding boost due to my ebay POS manifold cracking after my first pass.

1st pass- 35lbs messed up the launch 12.1@130
2nd pass- 28-30lbs clean pass 11.24@126

After the 2nd pass I realized the car wasn't holding boost and eventually found the crack. Called it a night as I still had to drive 40 miles home.

This was done with an 8 blade hx35, stock 2g intake manifold and throttle body, one pump, and FWD.

10's are coming very soon for sure.

what are you running for your trans??? stock build? what differential?

i hope to be right there with you putting it down FWD status. my hx35 will be on this weekend i hope
 
No head work othe than cams and dual valve springs. Bone stock open diff tranny with over 200k miles on it. Of course e85 tuned on Dsmlink by ASAPerformance in down here in S Florida.

Can't wait to see what it will run now that you have a BOV that can hold some boost.

Haha I know me either.

I just put on an evo3 intake manifold, 1g n/t throttle body, 3" intercooler, 3" piping, and a Tial Q bov I bought off tsimonster. It turns out my type s couldn't hold the boost as well as the Tial can. I went to tune without touching the boost controller the boost went from 28lbs to 40lbs in 3rd gear, went lean and popped the head gasket! The head is already at the machine shop and the car will be back together tomorrow and hopefully back to the track Wednesday on 40lbs.
 
Ahhh my old GST:( You took this car way beyond where I thought I would've taken it. Major props to you man on the times, can't wait to see it again. I am dumbfounded that the tranny is still holding up with that much power even though it was the best shifting tranny I've ever slammed gears in. Check your pm. :)

I can't believe it either. But you're right, it does shift pretty good. It's getting harder to shift 2nd at the track but every other gear is like butter!

Congrats man.. Just curious are feeding off the head or ofh???

When I first switched to an hx35 I fed it from the head unrestricted. I went off to tune on the wastegate only, 13 lbs. Everything was fine. Then 20, then 25, then 33, then like a dumb ass, I turn the boost controller all the way up to see what the the turbo maxed out at. Well a couple of pulls at 40lbs spinning the tires in 4th gear and I starved that turbo of oil and destroyed it.

Now I feed from the oil filter housing with a restrictor LOL.
